Deep Dive into the Pilates Chairs

Saturday 22 June, 12-5.30pm

The Pilates Chairs combine elements from ergonomic furniture with versatile exercise opportunities and were originally designed to introduce the method into our homes! This workshop explores and reviews original exercise repertoire on the Wunda, High, and Arm Chairs. We will look at the original philosophies of the Pilates method via the design of the various Chairs, discuss original quotes by Joseph Pilates about his inventions, and dive into ways to make teaching on the chairs seamless and effective!

Teaching Strategies from head to toes

Sunday 23 June 10am-3.30pm

The Pilates method seeks to address the body as a whole; all its systems, all its parts, working in orchestration. This workshop is dedicated to the comprehensiveness of the method and its systematic nature. It is split into three parts: assessment, conditioning, and correction. We will look at relevant exercise material on ALL apparatus (including smaller less familiar tools) and explore different ways to navigate the method. We will also discuss the teacher’s role and useful hacks to let the method teach itself.

Priority booking is open for the FULL WEEKEND BUNDLE only. Get both workshops for £585 (price includes 10% discount) for a limited time.
